✧ The Francesca Underbust Embroidered Corset in Black ✧

by Madame Mortelle

This is the Francesca underbust embroidered corset designed not to overpower the body — but to frame it.

Created by Madame Mortelle, this Francesca underbust embroidered corset draws from historical Renaissance stays and ceremonial foundations, reinterpreted through a modern, intentional lens. The Francesca underbust embroidered corset silhouette allows the corset to shape and support the waist and torso while remaining versatile, wearable, and adaptable across garments and eras.

The open front lacing allows for a fully customizable fit, making it possible to adjust the corset as the body naturally shifts over time. A four-inch front modesty panel provides refined coverage while allowing for gentle waxing and waning of weight. At the back, a matching modesty panel ensures additional comfort, flexibility, and long-term wearability.

This Francesca underbust embroidered corset is fully steel boned for structure and support, sculpting the waist without compression or rigidity. Carefully placed seams guide the body into shape with balance rather than force, honoring the principles of historical corsetry while remaining comfortable for extended wear.

A custom floral pattern is woven into the design — not as decoration alone, but as narrative. Inspired by antique textiles and archival embroidery, the motif reflects growth, restraint, and quiet defiance. Each floral element is intentional, reinforcing the idea that garments can carry story as well as structure.

This is not a costume underbust corset.
It is a historically inspired foundation garment.

Designed to be worn beneath gowns, paired with skirts or trousers, or styled as a standalone statement, this underbust corset moves effortlessly between eras and identities.

Because every body is unique, Immortelle sizing is not standard. Clients are strongly encouraged to use the Size Recommendation Tool and take accurate, current measurements before selecting a size to ensure optimal fit and performance.

Wear it as structure.
Wear it as intention.
Wear it as a foundation for becoming.

What is my size?

Each Immortelle corset top has a 4 inch front and 4 inch back modesty panel. A modesty panel is the fabric covering between and under the lacing of the grommeted flat steel bones on the front and back of all of our Immortelle corset tops. The modesty panel adds additional coverage to conceal the skin and give a more modest appearance.

Immortelle modesty panels are the same fabric as the corset top, however your front modesty panel can be covered with a Immortelle decorative stomacher. Our stomachers are hand embellished with decorative details such as ribbon, lace trim or bows to add an extra touch of elegance to our corset tops, dresses and gowns.
