✧ Princess Renaissance Corset Top in Scarlet Red Velvet ✧

by Madame Mortelle

Inspired by Guinevere — queen, consort, and quiet sovereign — the Princess Renaissance Corset was conceived as a garment of authority worn softly, not loudly. It draws from medieval and Renaissance silhouettes where power was expressed through bearing, restraint, and presence rather than armor.

This is a fully spiral steel boned, long-sleeved corset, designed as both foundation and statement. The corseted bodice of the Princess Renaissance Corset shapes and supports the torso through traditional construction techniques, while the extended sleeves recall historical court dress and ceremonial wear. It is a piece meant to command space without spectacle.

Crafted in velvet and built with steel boning for structure and longevity, the Princess Renaissance Corset balances softness with strength. The corset construction provides shaping through the waist and torso while allowing the garment to move with the body. An open front lacing closure allows for a customizable fit, while modesty panels offer coverage, flexibility, and comfort as the body changes over time.

The long sleeves extend the silhouette, creating a composed, elongated line that speaks to historical dress rather than costume. The Princess Renaissance Corset was designed to be worn as a complete garment — not hidden, not secondary — but as the centerpiece of an ensemble for Renaissance festivals, historical events, or ceremonial dress.

This is not a novelty corset.
It is not lingerie.
It is not costume.

The Princess Renaissance Corset is a historically inspired corset garment designed for presence.

Guinevere ruled not through force, but through steadiness.
Through choice.
Through the knowledge of when to speak — and when not to.

Immortelle Common Corset Top Questions

Our corset tops are offered in 4 sizes which encompass US Sizes 2-24. Our corset tops have a 4 inch front modesty panel and a 4 inch back modesty panel which allow 8 TOTAL inches of expandability. This allows the ultimate flexibility in comfort and fit.

What is my size?

Each Immortelle corset top has a 4 inch front and 4 inch back modesty panel. A modesty panel is the fabric covering between and under the lacing of the grommeted flat steel bones on the front and back of all of our Immortelle corset tops. The modesty panel adds additional coverage to conceal the skin and give a more modest appearance.

Immortelle modesty panels are the same fabric as the corset top, however your front modesty panel can be covered with a Immortelle decorative stomacher. Our stomachers are hand embellished with decorative details such as ribbon, lace trim or bows to add an extra touch of elegance to our corset tops, dresses and gowns.
