Refund policy

Immortelle garments are not mass-produced; they are thoughtfully constructed, carefully handled, and prepared for each order with close attention. The policies below reflect the care taken in their creation and are designed to preserve the integrity of each piece.

On Returns, Exchanges, and Store Credit

Immortelle garments are created with care, intention, and close inspection prior to shipment. For this reason, we ask that all return and exchange requests be approached with the same consideration.

General Policy

Kindly note that Immortelle does not issue monetary refunds. Approved returns are eligible for store credit only.
All returns and exchanges must be approved prior to shipment of the return. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

No returns, exchanges, or store credit are offered for any items purchased in person at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.
This policy is absolute and without exception.


Website Purchases Only

For orders placed through our website:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return or exchange.

  • Approved items must be shipped back with tracking within 7 days of delivery.


Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Due to the nature of our corsets, gowns, and accoutrements, returns for store credit will not be accepted for the following, unless an item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Any purchases made in person at the Ohio Renaissance Festival

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Items worn beyond the initial try-on

Returns will be declined if an item shows evidence of wear, including but not limited to makeup marks, stains, scent, alterations, or use in photoshoots. Should an item be returned in such condition, the request for store credit will be denied, and you will be given the option to pay for return shipping to have the item sent back to you.


Size Exchange Courtesy

We are pleased to offer a size exchange courtesy, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item remains unworn, pristine, and with original tags attached

  • The requested size is available

To initiate a size exchange, please contact us via email, website chat, or direct message on Instagram or Facebook. Once your original item has been received and inspected, the replacement size will be sent.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. As a courtesy, Immortelle will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item.
If the requested size is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.


Item Exchanges

Exchanges for a different item may be requested within 7 days of delivery by contacting us via email or direct message. Requests are reviewed promptly.

Upon approval and receipt of the original item—returned in the same immaculate condition as received—we will dispatch your new selection. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs; shipping for the exchanged item will be covered by Immortelle as a courtesy.


Returns for Store Credit

If you wish to return an item for store credit, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within three days of delivery and no later than seven days.

Return shipping costs and original shipping fees are not covered unless an error has occurred on our part.

Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, store credit equal to the item’s value (excluding shipping fees) will be issued in the form of a personalized coupon code.


Store Credit Terms

  • Store credit may be used online or in person at the Ohio Renaissance Festival

  • In-person redemption requires presentation and validation of the credit code

  • Store credit purchases must equal or exceed the original purchase amount

  • Store credits never expire


Shipping Responsibility

Immortelle cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, misrouted, or delayed return shipments. We strongly recommend retaining tracking information and filing a claim with the carrier if an issue arises.

Refunds or store credit will not be issued for packages lost or stolen in transit to us.

  • We do not offer alterations under any circumstances, either online or at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.
