Designed exclusively for Immortelle, this corset reimagines the lineage of 18th-century French corsetry through a modern couture lens — where structure was never meant to imprison, but to compose. Historic French stays were created to support posture, presence, and elegance, allowing the wearer to move through the world with quiet authority rather than force.

The Rose Poudré textile evokes the powdered roses and porcelain gardens of Versailles — a delicate blush-toned floral that feels luminous yet understated, echoing the soft palettes of French court dress.

This edition introduces Immortelle’s High Court Hip silhouette, a refined evolution of the original French Stays design. The higher-cut hip line lengthens the torso visually while emphasizing the natural waist, creating a more dramatic hourglass profile.

From the waist falls a sculptural four-tier peplum, each layer edged in softly scalloped frilled trim that echoes the ornamental details of historic French garments. The cascading tiers add movement, romance, and architectural balance — framing the hips while preserving the composed elegance of the corset’s structure.

Crafted with careful attention to proportion, the corset features open front lacing, allowing for a customizable and flattering fit. A four-inch front modesty panel provides refined coverage while accommodating gentle shifts in the body over time. At the back, a four-inch modesty panel offers additional flexibility and comfort, ensuring the corset adjusts with you — not against you.

Pre-Order Information

The French Stays Corset – Rose Poudré, High Court Hip Silhouette is currently available as a limited pre-order release.

Each corset will be produced in a small scheduled atelier run following the close of this offering. Please allow approximately 4 weeks for production and shipping once the pre-order window closes this coming Sunday the 15th of March, 2026.

This pre-order will remain open for one week only and will conclude next Sunday, March the 15th at 12:00 AM (midnight). After this time, the Rose Poudré edition will no longer be available until the commencement of the Ohio Renaissance Festival. 

Pre-ordering allows us to produce each corset with the careful attention and craftsmanship that Immortelle pieces require, while ensuring that clients are able to secure their size from this limited run.
